DUCATI 916 SPS 1998 Aust Delivered in ASPENDALE, Victoria for sale

Genuine 916 SPS #0723 Australian Delivered 09/98, only fifty 916 "Sport Production Special" model's were brought into Australia in 1998! A rare find for the most fastidious collector or enthusiast, International Bike of the Year of it's time and world SBK championship winning machine. These engines were fitted with titanium valves, conrod's, up spec ECU and a 996cc displacement as used in the world SBK team's. Ohlins rear suspension, Showa forks and Brembo brakes were standard equipment. The bike comes with periodic Michelin Pilot Sport tyre's front and rear, these were the must have tyre in the late 90's, genuine Ducati indoor dust cover and Genuine Ducati color coded rear stand. The bike is fitted with a full Termignoni race exhaust system with Carbon Fibre mufflers ($5000 option from new), Marchesini magnesium gold five spoke rim's ($5000 option from new), open clutch cover, Genuine Ducati gold preasure plate, new belts and service recently carried out. The number plate "SPS 98" is included however the bike is currently unregistered. Genuine Ducati carbon fibre parts - Airbox, Chain Guard, Heel Guards, Rego Plate Holder, Under Tray, Exhaust Guard, V Piece, Front Guard, Sprocket Cover, Key Guard. Never been in an accident, fallen over or ridden in the rain, over all in excellent condition. This is one of the cleanest example's in the country and would be best suited in addition to someone's private collection. The bike rides, sounds and feels as new.
